Facebook will now give millions of dollars to publishers for its separate news tabs
Facebook wants to launch its own separate news tab soon.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Facebook is offering multimillion-dollar
deals to various publishers for it. Facebook has told several publishers that
it will give them a maximum of $ 3 million a year, in return Will have to
license its content to Facebook for one year. According to sources, the new
section will be launched this autumn.
The Wall Street Journal says Facebook has met Walt
Disney's ABC News, Washington Post and Bloomberg administration in this regard.
It has not yet been clear whether a company has signed a three-year deal with
Facebook. Agreed or not
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced the
introduction of separate news tabs earlier this year.
The announcement was made shortly after the launch of
Apple's News and Magazine subscription service. Facebook said the news service
would be free to consumers, but the company would pay for news outlets. The
booklet will also provide complete articles to the subscribers and give them a
summary of the news.
The new News tab will be different from previous news
related features on Facebook. This will not be the same as instant articles, in
which advertising revenue is shared with news outlets.
