How to schedule an email in Gmail

Google announced email scheduling support in April 2019. But this feature is currently only offered for desktop and mobile users.
Earlier, scheduling e-mail had to use third-party addon, but Gmail's own email schedule feature is fairly easy to use. This feature can be used in several ways. With this feature you can send yourself a reminder email at certain times in the future, for whom to schedule a birthday message.
Or send email to users in other time zones according to their timing.
Here's how to schedule Gmail email in the desktop.

• Compose new email.
• Click on the triangle with the Send button.
• Choose the recommended time or choose the date and time at your own pace.

This feature works similarly in the Gmail mobile app, but the mobile app does not have a button with a sand button, but instead of clicking on three dots in the top right corner, the Schedule Time option is revealed.


Scheduling email is also easy to find and cancel. A new folder for desktops and mobiles is created for this email by the name It can be viewed by clicking on the Scheduled Email and clicking Cancel Send in the top right corner. This will convert the email into a Draft.
